WSB ENGINEERING

WSB has been named one of the Top 100 Workplaces in Minnesota based on an employee survey project from the Star Tribune. The Star Tribune Top Workplaces special section was published in the Star Tribune on Sunday, June 16. The report can also be found at StarTribune.com /topworkplaces2013.

Produced by the same team that compiles the 22-year-old Star Tribune 100 report of the best-performing public companies in Minnesota, Top Workplaces recognizes the most progressive companies in Minnesota based on employee opinions about organizational health, job expectations, and employee engagement. The analysis included responses from over 64,300 employees at Minnesota public, private, and nonprofit organizations.

The rankings in the Star Tribune Top 100 Workplaces are based on survey information collected by WorkplaceDynamics, an independent company specializing in employee engagement and retention.

“We are very proud to be named one of the Top Workplaces in Minnesota,” says WSB President Bret Weiss. “We believe that if our staff has passion for our company, they will share that same passion with our clients. At all levels of the organization, our staff’s collaboration, customer service, and drive for innovation help make WSB a great place to work. Our clients appreciate these characteristics and the value they add to the projects we deliver. It’s very rewarding to know that our people see in WSB all the wonderful things that I see and that we are all working together to make WSB the best it can be.”

Star Tribune Publisher Michael J. Klingensmith said, “The companies in the Star Tribune Top 100 Workplaces deserve high praise for creating the very best work environments in the state of Minnesota. My congratulations to each of these exceptional companies.”

To qualify for the Star Tribune Top Workplaces, a company must have more than 50 employees in Minnesota. Nearly 1,900 companies were invited to participate. Rankings were composite scores calculated purely on the basis of employee responses.
