Save the Date! Driverless Cars in our Future

The transportation industry is transforming at breathtaking speed! This event will include an all star panel and engage the audience in a discussion about driverless transportation. The conversation will address the impact of driverless cars within the auto insurance and car sales industries and the need for light and commuter rail.

Panelists include:
Thea Walsh, Director of Columbus Ohio’s “Smart Cities” program. Columbus Ohio intends to become the Silicon Valley for transportation innovation. The city is laying the groundwork for a major Hyperloop that will circle the city and is installing the infrastructure for driverless vehicles.

Susan Mulvihill, Deputy Commissioner and Chief Engineer for MNDOT will review the structural issues involved in getting our transportation system ready for driverless vehicles.

Frank Douma, Senior Fellow at the Humphrey Institute will discuss the economic aspects related to the driverless modes of transportation.
