Bitter or Better? Strategies for Thriving from Season to Season

The holiday season can be filled with joy, grief and anxiety, as Caryn Sullivan well knows.  In 2009, her husband died unexpectedly, days before Christmas. His death followed several family medical crises and her son’s autism diagnosis.

In her Pioneer Press columns and her award-winning memoir, Bitter or Better: Grappling With Life on the Op-Ed Page, Caryn offers insights and strategies for dealing with loss and life throughout the year - and during the holidays.

Join us as Caryn shares how she made the choice and lives the choice to be better, not bitter; how she went from surviving to thriving; and how you can, too.

Appetizers will be served - Caryn’s book will be available for purchase
