White Bear Chamber Endorsement

To address the immediate situation of White Bear Lake, a community collaborative entitled “Race 2 Reduce” was implemented by H2O for Life. The goal of Race 2 Reduce is to introduce water conservation into the schools, and to educate youth to be leaders of change in reducing their overall water use. H2O for Life serves as the fiscal agent and lead implementing organization for Race 2 Reduce. The ultimate goal is to reduce water consumption by 17% in White Bear and the surrounding communities. Even though the restoration of White Bear Lake is not the only objective of this legislation, we believe if water use can be reduced by 17% it will have a positive impact on the White Bear Lake water level.
