Merry Christmas From Cycle Werks!!

Cycle Werks was started in 1981 by David Pickering, an avid club racer who wanted a way to turn his passion for cycling into a career. His first location was out of his parents home, there he developed a customer base made up mostly of fellow racers and club members. He later moved into his first retail space on Court st. in downtown Bowling Green, this was a small store that served him well for years. The shop later moved to Main st. in the same location that there in now, at that time though the store only took up about 1/4 of the building. As time went by he saw the need for a bigger location that's when he bought the property he was renting and expanded to take up the entire building.

As the years went by a need for a second location was seen, that's when we opened our Maumee store. At first located in the Parkway Plaza and later moving to 116 E. William, the small tan house that many of you remember. This was a small store that worked well for us for many years but eventually we needed more space to service our Toledo area customers. That's when we made our latest move to our newest location in Whitehouse, situated on the Wabash Cannonball trail in the downtown area we have many miles of bike path right out our front door.
