Anthony Wayne Schools Participates in Penta Manufacturing Day with The Chamber!

The Anthony Wayne Regional Chamber and Penta Career Center hosted manufacturing day on Friday, October 7, 2016 featuring area schools districts including Anthony Wayne Schools who toured Kennametal in Whitehouse.

Manufacturing Day has been created especially for guidance counselors, teachers and school administrators within the member school districts served by Penta Career Center to showcase the benefits of manufacturing careers and manufacturing’s value to our economy. It is a national initiative first established in 2012 by the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association, the Manufacturing Institute, the National Association of Manufacturers, and the Manufacturing Extension Partnership.   The Anthony Wayne Regional Chamber, and The Chamber Partnership sponsored this event along with Penta Career Center and welcomed Dr. Jim Fritz, Anthony Wayne Schools superintendent who was also part of the tour.   The Chamber is already confirming and planning for additional tours in 2017 and are excited to continue to assist employers and enhance our workforce needs.
