About Us
New state assessment and accountability requirements have created new challenges for site administrators. Since most administrators received their administrative training prior to the Public Schools Accountability Act of 1999, they have varying degrees of knowledge about current educational practices. AB 75 is intended to close the gap by providing all principals and vice principals with current training in leadership, instructional practices, and assessment and accountability as well as updated strategies and tools to implement a standards-based, data-driven system to improve student achievement. Principals and vice principals participating in this training also have the opportunity to interact with other site administrators. The State goal is for all California site administrators to complete AB 75 training by 2006.The Beginning Teacher Support and Assessment Induction Program (BTSA) is a statewide and state-mandated research based program of support and skill building
