This year’s 5k theme is Water Wars. This is a fun, family-friendly community event that promotes health, unity, and generosity. This event raises vital funds for our three active Learning Centers and helps launch two exciting new centers serving over 190 K-12 graders . There is a competitive bracket and a non-competitive bracket. Be prepared to get wet! \n\nClub Christ is a 501(c)(3) non-profit youth development organization whose mission is to empower urban youth to transform their community for Christ. We are a faith-based program that does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, political affiliation, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, disability and genetic information, or age. Our Centers currently serve three of the most at-risk neighborhoods in the Henderson and Las Vegas areas. Students who attend the Learning Centers participate in after-school programs that include leadership development, one-on-one tutoring, literacy intervention and enrichment, Bible studies, and mentoring.\n\Details:\nWhat is the 5K Water Wars?\nIt’s a 5K Fun Run/Walk with an epic heroes vs villains water battle twist — perfect for every age and ability level. Check in time starts at 8:00am\n\nThere are two brackets:\n🥇 Competitive Bracket: Timed race with prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers. Start time is 9:00am.\n😊 Non-Competitive Bracket: A casual, fun run/walk for families, teams, and superhero superfans. Start time is 9:15am.\n\nThe first 100 kids under 12 are free and will receive a free water squirter to battle off the villains or heroes on the course, We encourage all participants to dress up in their favorite comic book villain or hero costume. At the end of the race, there will be an epic water battle between heroes and villains. Additionally, we will have snacks and drinks after the race including testimonials from kids in the program. \nAdults & Kids 12 and up: $35 per ticket. There are two brackets:
