DESCRIPTION:I CAN BE Career Fair Volunteer Recruitment\n\n10/29/25 06:45 AM PST\n - 10/29/25 01:30 PM PST\Description:\n\n \nThe Henderson Chamber of Commerce is excited to continue its I CAN BE career fair initiative with partnering high schools for 2025.  \nI CAN BE = Integrating Career Academies by Networking Business & Education. We need volunteers to support this program, whether it’s you or fellow industry peers at your respective companies.\n\n👉 Volunteer Sign-Up Form: Click here to register\n\nEvent Details:\n\n\n	Mission: To expose students to the wide range of careers available in Southern Nevada by connecting them with real-world industry professionals.\n	Date & Time: Wednesday, October 29 | 6:45 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.\n	Location: Basic Academy of International Studies \n	Format:\n	\n		Career fair-style event in the school’s auxiliary gym\n		800+ students expected to attend\n		50–65 industry professionals grouped into ~18 career clusters (aligned with LVGEA’s Workforce Blueprint 2022)\n		Students will complete assignments to interact with at least three clusters\n		Scholarships awarded for the most compelling reflections, supported by the Arnold Lopez Memorial Scholarship Fund\n	\n	\n\n\nClick here to read about the impact I CAN BE is having on the students in our community.\n\nClick here to view the I CAN BE Workforce Clusters. \n\nClick here if you are interested in being a sponsor for I CAN BE. \n \Details:\nWhen you enter or attend an event or program conducted by the Henderson Chamber of Commerce, you enter an area where photography, audio and video recording may occur.
