Due to the government shutdown, active-duty military members are currently not permitted to attend community events, on or off base. Because of this, we’ve made the difficult decision to postpone the Ceremony.\n\nWe are committed to properly celebrating and recognizing our servicemembers, and we want them to be there in person to join us. Once the shutdown is resolved, we will announce a new date and hope to have your continued support.\n\nIn the meantime, our Chamber team and board will continue working to support and advocate for our military community.\n\nFor questions or concerns, please reach out to Zach Yentzer or Allison Dias.\n\nThank you for your understanding and support.\n\n_____________________________________________________________________\n\nGlendale Chamber of Commerce Military & Veterans Affairs presents the 5th Annual Military Appreciation Ceremony\n\nOur service men and women dedicate their lives to serving our country, but many of them go above the call of duty and become the backbone of our local communities. The Glendale Chamber Military & Veterans Affairs Committee will recognize and thank these incredible service men and women, and their dependents, at the Military Appreciation Ceremony on November 5, 2025, at Soldier's Best Friend. Light breakfast will be provided.\n\nEvent Details:\n\n\n	November 5, 2025\n	Soldier's Best Friend (14505 N. 75th Avenue, Peoria, AZ 85381)\n	7:30am: Check-in & Networking\n	8:00–9:00am: Program\n	Cost: $25 for attendance per individual\n\n\nParking for members and guests will be available in the church parking lot adjacent to the venue. Directional signage will be clearly displayed.\n\nPlease use this form to nominate someone who deserves to be recognized for their dedication to the community. Deadline for nominations is September 30, 2025. All nominees must be active-duty personnel, including national guard and reserves, or their dependents.
