DESCRIPTION:Brown Bag Lunch & Lecture Event\n\n03/13/26 12:00 PM EST\n - 03/13/26 01:00 PM EST\Description:\n\Details:\nMCHS is kicking off America’s 250 with the first of five Brown Bag Lunch & Lecture events featuring presentations on the Revolutionary War era.\n \nThe first Brown Bag Lunch & Lecture Event is on Friday, March 13, from Noon – 1:00 p.m. Join Studebaker National Museum curator Kyle Sater for an in-depth look at the life and legacy of one the heroes of the Revolutionary era—the Marquis de Lafayette—and his triumphant return to the United States for a “farewell tour” in 1824-1825. Mr. Sater will also share the story behind the oldest vehicle in the Studebaker’s collection, a carriage used by Lafayette’s party on this tour. So come celebrate the bicentennial of this remarkable event and learn more about America’s “favorite fighting Frenchman!”\n \nThe event will be held at the Marshall County Historical Society & Museum, 123 N.
