Spencer has served at Anderson Hospital since 1998 and was named President in 2024. Under her leadership, a transformative partnership between SIUE’s School of Nursing and Anderson Healthcare was launched—strengthening nursing education and addressing critical workforce needs across our region. Lisa describes the collaboration as a full-circle moment, reflecting a shared commitment to preparing the next generation of nurses through innovative, hands-on learning and teamwork.\n\nALUMNI SPOTLIGHT\n\n\nDr. Kendall Spicer '21 & Dr. Hannah Spicer '23\n\nKendall and his wife, Hannah, both earned their doctorates in Pharmacy from SIUE and are actively practicing as pharmacists. In addition to his work in healthcare, Kendall is a certified hot air balloon pilot.
