Event Description

I think we all have someone in our lives affected by devastating news or tragedy. Have you often wondered how you can help? There are many ways you can get involved in the giving back to the community we all work and live in. We have an event that we hope will suit your interests and let you join in the spirit of camaraderie and compassion as we work together to create better communities, the Annual Chili Cook Off with all proceeds benefiting local organizations.

The Committee is comprised of four dedicated volunteers, but we know it takes community involvement to make this event a success. In the past several years over $125,000 has been raised for our community! The money raised stays local and goes directly to those in need who live in our community. This year our charities of choice are:
 Fowler Bonan Foundation “Clothes for Kids”
 The Night’s Shield Children’s Shelter
 Williamson County Heartland Rotary iPad project for children with learning disabilities
 The Lighthouse Shelter

The 9th Annual Chili Cook Off will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 4, 2017 at The Elk’s in Marion and we are looking for people to help make a difference. Opportunities are available in a variety of ways:

$5.00 to taste all the competitors Chili.

 Company Sponsorships from $250 to $1,000
 Support your own chili team or sponsor a chili team – our theme this year is Game Shows
 Silent auction items
 Volunteer time or goods (such as spoons, tasting cups, food items, etc.)
We are looking forward to a great day of networking, live music, chili tasting, games and FUN! Our goal this year is to collect over $25,000 in proceeds for our community; let’s make this year the best yet! Please consider how you or your company can be part of this amazing community event. Enclosed is more information about this event along with sponsorship and entry forms.
Sincerely,

The Annual Chili Cook-Off Committee
