Event Description
The Pope County HELP (Helping Everyone Live in Peace) Council is the county's child abuse and violence prevention council. The council was formed in 1993 with a goal of involving the community in efforts to find better ways of dealing with family violence issues.

HELP Council's mission is to create an atmosphere of zero tolerance for violence in Pope County. The council provides community members with information and education regarding violence and violence prevention issues in hopes of raising public awareness and making our neighborhoods and communities caring, supportive and safe.

Agency, school staff and community members are invited to attend the monthly meetings (off in July & August) at the Glenwood Pizza Ranch, 12 noon - 1:00 pm.
