The September Lunch & Learn will be held on October 24th from noon - 1 p.m. at Heartland Regional Medical Center, Classroom 1.
This Month's Topic: Leadership in Service with Beau Detrick
Sgt. First Class Beau Detrick will join facilitator Russell Williams to dig into the leadership lessons learned from service in The Illinois Army National Guard. Sgt. First Class Detrick is a highly accomplished and decorated non-commissioned officer having been named a regional and national non-commissioned officer of the year and top recruiter for the Guard. Beau is the Marion Chamber’s Citizen of the Year for 2018. Come learn how the experiences of being a highly trained commander can be applied to our everyday experiences of being leaders.
The Marion Chamber of Commerce hosts a Lunch & Learn each month as part of the Leadership Marion program, sponsored by Heartland Regional Medical Center.
In a brief amount of time, you will receive the best leadership principles, interact with other growing leaders, and discuss how to apply effective practices to your organization. After each Lunch & Learn, you will walk away with at least one mind changing idea that will create a desire for motivation and self-improvement. This is the perfect professional development opportunity to increase levels of influence and potential in yourself and in the teams you lead.
The Lunch and Learn programs will be held on the fourth Wednesday of the month (March 21 and December 19, 2018, class are exceptions) from noon to 1 pm at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Classrooms 1&4.
Admission is $15 per Marion Chamber member ($20 for non-Chamber). Lunch and drinks provided courtesy of Heartland Regional Medical Center.
