There’s “Snow” Place Like Vesterheim for Barnetimen (Children’s Hour)
There’s “snow” place like Vesterheim, the national Norwegian-American museum and heritage center, at Barnetimen (Children’s Hour) on Tuesday, January 15, from 10-11 a.m.
Preschoolers and their caregivers are invited to learn about wintertime activities in Norway, have a “snowball” fight, and make some snow-inspired art. Snacks will be provided. Activities will begin in the museum at 502 W. Water St.
Barnetimen is a free program that meets at Vesterheim Museum the third Tuesday of each month, September-April. The program is geared toward 3-5 year olds, but all ages are welcome. No sign-up is necessary—come to one session or all of them.
Barnetimen is sponsored by Amy and Keith Bruening, David and Brenda Carlson, and Norwegian Mutual Insurance Association.
