FREE Teen Health program for ages 10-12! Promoting Health Among Teens is a lively, evidence-based, age appropriate teen health program, proven effective in reducing the risk of sexually transmitted infections, HIV/AIDS, and teen pregnancy. This program incorporates medically accurate information along with crucial knowledge on how to identify and handle peer pressure. Held at the Family Resource Center, 331 7th St. in Elko on Thurs., Jan. 17 and Fri., Jan. 18 from 3:30pm-6:30pm both days. Youth must attend BOTH DAYS of class to receive free incentives. Permission slips are required, signed by parent/guardian.
Those who attend both full sessions of the program will receive a FREE backpack filled with school supplies OR a $25 store gift card (Marshall's or JCPenney). Parents of youth who attend both sessions will receive a FREE $15 gas card after class on the last day. **One free incentive allowed per child per year.**
