Welcome Silver Valley into changing Ideas into Actions. We will be having our first meeting to review the upcoming changes that are about to take place in the Silver Valley. If you were not able to attend the “Planning for the Future” presentation done by the EPA / DEQ this past month, we will quickly review the results, however, this is where things change. Instead of just listening to the Ideas, we are going to create a community group that will start the Implementation of these changes. In fact, this Group has already Partnered with Silver Valley Holdings, LLC and facilitated the purchase of the damaged building in uptown Kellogg to remediate and open not just one but all three commercial spaces that have been closed for over 13 years. We also will be creating the venue to possibly even purchase and develop some and/or all of the DEQ properties that are going to be given back to the Silver Valley for our Community Use. This will require a complete unity within the Valley to achieve, however, this meeting is the first step for this endeavor. The Meeting will be May 16th and 21st at 114 McKinley Avenue in uptown Kellogg at 6pm. Please invite anyone whom you may think that would like to make this OUR VALLEY with OUR IDEAS.
