2019 Dawson County Fair begins Wednesday, July 17 with family night at the Carnival and four more nights of Carnival Fun,.Thursday, July 18 is a great night of "Beef & Brew" at the Beer Garden, 5:00-7:00 pm for $10 you will receive 5 - 5oz samples from Pals, North Platte; KInkaider, Broken Bow; Canyon Lakes Brewery, Johnson Lake; Mac's Creeky Winery & Brewery, Lexington and Lazy RW Distrillery, Moorefield and enjoy music by Formerly Three along with beef samples prepared by a member of the Nebraska Cattlemen. Friday and Saturday nights will be the 2nd Annual Dawson County Rodeo, beginning at 7:00 pm. and later in the evening enjoy the James Lee Band and Borderline in the Beer Garden. And Saturday, July 20th is the 2nd Annual "Smokin' behind the Barn" BBQ Competition followed by all you can eat BBQ from 5:00-7:00 pm for $10.00 for adults.
