WASHINGTON, D.C. – The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) is excited to announce its 40th National Convention—the largest annual gathering of Hispanic business leaders in the country—will be held September 29th – October 1st, 2019 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The annual convention is the premier event for America’s Hispanic business community, convening hundreds of Hispanic entrepreneurs, national and international corporate executives, top government officials, local Hispanic publishers, and representatives from more than 250 Latino chambers and business associations from throughout the United States of America.
“The USHCC was incorporated in 1979 in New Mexico, and it is with great pleasure that we announce that we are coming back home for the 2019 USHCC National Convention. Our 40th National Convention will be the largest gathering of Hispanic businesses in the U.S. and we are thrilled to be hosting it in Albuquerque, a city with a prominent Hispanic business community,” said Ramiro Cavazos, USHCC President & CEO. “The city of Albuquerque is emblematic of the Southwest and the country at large, with its vibrant multicultural history. With more than 157,257 small businesses, $3.7 billion in exports, and the largest Hispanic statewide population share nationally, New Mexico is the ideal location to celebrate the success of the growing Hispanic small business community.”
The 2019 USHCC National Convention Host Committee Co-Chairs will be Regina O. Heyward, Senior Vice President and Head of Supplier Diversity at Wells Fargo representing our USHCC corporate partner members, Rosa Santana, Founder and CEO of the Santana Group representing our USHCC Hispanic Business Enterprise (HBE) members, and we are honored that our host chamber, Ernie C’ de Baca, President & CEO of the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce will represent our hundreds of USHCC chambers. Together, they will lead a Host Committee of local, state, and national business leaders on fundraising and programming, making the 2019 USHCC National Convention the largest and most successful convention yet!

Signature events of the USHCC National Convention include our Women in Business and Leadership Luncheon where we celebrate trailblazing women who have reached the highest echelons of success in their fields and present the Excellence in Leadership Award, the Million Dollar Club (MDC), which recognizes companies that invest $25 million to $1 billion in Hispanic-owned businesses; the Supplier Diversity Luncheon, which pays tribute to our corporate partners with the largest supplier diversity spend with Hispanic Business Enterprises; the ERG Summit, which recognizes Employee Resource Groups (ERG) from Fortune 500 corporations demonstrating a commitment to increase diversity, creativity, and talent, and the HBE Elite Awards where we showcase high achieving Hispanic-owned businesses.
