Here in the Driftless, we know we don't need to wait around for national political action on climate; we have fertile soil, a biodiverse ecosystem, and connected, resilient communities. While we do need those in political power to make massive changes to our political and economic structures, we also know that we have power in our own lives and ways of relating to life on this planet. So: let's have a potluck, on a regenerative farm, and engage in conversation about local resilience to climate chaos.
1. Carpool to the farm! 2. Bring potluck food to share! 3. If you'd like to have either a pastured pork bratwurst or a grass-fed lamb burger cooked for you, RSVP to email@example.com.
Hoping to eat around 6:30. There will be some programming and structured facilitated time as well. Dress for the weather, as the farm doesn't really have indoor space!
Thank you to our hosts, Hannah Breckbill and Emily Fagan!
Here's to a resilient future!
