Details:            Nord comes from Würzburg, Germany, where she teaches religious education and didactics of religious education at the University of Würzburg.  Her lecture will explore the use of internet and artificial intelligence in religious services, including the recent ordination of a robot priest in Kyoto, Japan.

            "This talk explores the use of cutting-edge technology in religious practice as a response to the increased technologization of our lives. The talk provides a window into new possibilities and the religious life of the future," said Gereon Kopf, professor of religion at Luther College.

            The lecture is open to the public with no charge for admission.
