Software Testing is one of the most indispensable jobs in the world today. This course introduces "manual" software testing, providing knowledge of theory, practice, and application as well as on-the-job training and real-world simulations designed to help a novice level computer user to compete into the field of software testing. This course explores "manual" software testing methodologies and applications; in addition, it provides basic computer literacy and communication skills for competing in a range of different software testing environments. Completion of this course provides the certification needed to apply to entry-level software testing positions and provides a comprehensive review for the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) test, which is taken upon completion. Students must provide their own laptop. This training program prepares students to become skilled software testing and quality assurance technicians for a wide array of businesses and organizations. Students exiting this program will be of immediate interest to any corporation with software testers. Learn quality assurance and testing best practices. Training in software testing helps fill the demand many employers are seeking now. Facilitated in conjunction with Xactware, Henry Schein, and the Utah Department of Workforce Services.
