Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship Community Film Night and Fundraiser
Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship Community Film Night and Fundraiser! Come join us for an evening at Quintopia Brewing and the West End Theatre to help Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship raise money towards our mission of building and maintaining local multi-use trails in the Lost Sierra. We will be hosting a silent auction featuring items such as Thule Packs, Patagonia WorkWear, Fox Rear Shocks, and much more! Greg Williams, SBTS Executive Director, will be presenting the Connected Communities - Regional Trails Master Plan.
Film info: Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship brings “Dirt Magic" to the West End Theatre at 6:30pm - This is a Patagonia, Teton Gravity Research and Freehub Magazine film documenting Downieville, CA’s journey from dying mining town to mountain-bike mecca. Inspired by a desire to save their home trails, shaped by a grassroot organization’s unintentional stewardship, and fueled by the sport’s rowdiest festival, Downieville’s newest dirt miners are using that reputation to create a model community for struggling mountain towns across the globe—and it all started with a van, a chainsaw, and a few maxed-out credit cards.
Following the film and silent auction fundraiser, Quintopia Brewing and Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship will be hosting live music and dancing until closing time at 9:30 pm.
