The American Indian Chamber of Commerce of New Mexico is pleased to present our 2019 New Mexico Native American Economic Summit on November 19th & 20th in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The topics covered at the summit will be focused on Federal Contract acquisition by businesses.
Have you ever wondered how the Buy Indian Act (BIA) is applied and how it benefits Indian Economic Enterprises (IEE)? What is an Indian Indian Economic Enterprise and do I qualify? What is the Indian Incentive Program (IIP) and can I use it in conjunction with the Buy Indian Act? How do these policies affect NM and surrounding Pueblos and Tribes? If so, then you need to attend this summit! We have designed this year's event for ALL small business owners, contractors, sub-contractors, tribal entities, and 8(a) certified companies to synergize, strategize, and build relationships by engaging in workshops and discussions focused on BIA, IEE, & IIP.
In collaboration with the National Center American Indian Procurement Technical Assistance Center we will also be hosting a 2019 Indian Economic Enterprise Matchmaking Fair - where Buyers and Sellers will have a chance to meet one-on-one in a quick pitch meeting, with the goal of establishing connections and potential economic partnerships between the Government entities and the many small businesses in attendance. The Matchmaking event is Free for all who want to attend.
Our commitment is to continue educating and leading awareness for Native and Non-Native businesses, Entrepreneurs, Artisans, Tribal Governments, State and Federal Agencies on the numerous resources that are available.
