Description:The Oneota Film Festival builds and sustains a community of film lovers through screenings and discussion.  The Festival is an opportunity to inform, inspire and engage viewers and filmmakers in compelling issues of our time.

The Oneota Film Festival is produced by a dedicated group of volunteers that includes local film enthusiasts, who formed a non-profit corporation for the sole purpose of producing the Festival since 2009. This is an incredible Northeast Iowa Destination Experience, bringing in quality films of all genres that explore the joys of life on earth, as well as the critical issues and challenges we all face.

Film screenings will be on the Luther Campus and in various downtown locations. Film Books, listing the films to be screened and the schedule, will be available in several locations around the area about two weeks before the Festival.

Films are created by independent filmmakers and not readily available through commercial networks. We invite independent filmmakers to the Festival, either live or by Skype, to discuss their works with the audiences.
