With the goal of dismantling confusion about how the Iowa caucus operates, Carly Foster, associate professor of political science, will describe the Democratic Party process and Mike Engelhardt, professor of political science, will describe the Republican Party process. There will be time for questions following their presentations.

"People should be informed about the caucuses because Iowa plays a unique and privileged role in the process of selecting the U.S. President," says Foster, professor of political science. "We want people, especially students, to be informed about the caucuses so they can be fully prepared to participate."

Come learn about the process, the procedures for both parties and learn whether it's best to vote in Decorah or your hometown. This event is sponsored by the Center for Ethics and Public Engagement. Pizza will be provided.
