Run Wild with the Moose February 15 - March 1, 2020

February 15:
Meet up early in the TWEEDS parking lot to see The Moose for his annual tradition of Yippee Ki-Yay! Get Moose Bucks just for horsin’ around!

Feb. 15: 10 a.m. Gun fight with Moose and High Price Paul at Tweeds
Feb. 15: 1-2 p.m. Historian Mel McFarland will be at The Cowhand (200 W. Midland Ave.) Get a tour of the Cog Train at Bergstrom Park
Feb. 15: 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. Poet and signer Susie Knight has spent years making audiences laugh, sigh, and cry with joy, and applaud with enthusiasm for her creative performances. Enjoy her entertainment at The Historic Ute Inn, 204 W. Midland Ave.

Railroad Historian – Tours of the Cog Train at Bergstrom ParkA Colorado Springs native, Mel McFarland is active in local history pursuits and has worked with newspapers, schools, and historical sources in preserving local railroad history.  A car from the Cog Railway is now in place at its new home at the Woodland Station Depot. Meet Historian Mel McFarland at The Cowhand in Woodland Park from 1 – 2 on Saturdays Nov. 15, 22 or 29 and tour the Cog Railway car.

Susie Knight – Cowygirl Poetry
 In 2010, Susie broke out onto the cowboy poetry and music scene where she performs her original stories and songs all over the West from Washington to Kansas and from Canada to Arizona. She has been awarded the 2016 and 2014 Western Music Association's Female Poet of the Year, the 2013 Academy of Western Artists' Cowgirl Poet, 2013 Cowboy Idol Poet, and the winner of the 2016 Western Music Association Cowboy Poetry CD of the Year for her all-original CD, Fillin' Tanks, and the 2012 Western Music Association Cowboy Poetry CD of the Year for her all-original CD, Western Wordsmith. Susie Knight will be performing at The Historic Ute Inn at 2:30 - 4:30 p.m., Feb. 15.
