Event Description
Do you have personal or professional experience with health-related issues? Come share and learn at New Mexico First’s Statewide Town Hall on physical, mental, and behavioral health. Folks from across the state will come together to build relationships and recommendations to optimize health and decide on action steps. Prior to the statewide Town Hall, approximately 15 community conversation will be held around New Mexico to inform discussions at the April 8-9th event. The Town Hall serves as a great networking opportunity for professionals and students in health-related fields. There will be an array of representation from different fields, backgrounds, communities, and political parties.
Themes include:
  1. Fostering a Robust and Responsive Continuum of Care
  2. Building Inclusive and Culturally Competent Systems to Support Health
  3. Growing, Attracting, and Retaining and Effecting Healthcare Workforce
  4. Health Economics, Data, and Decision-Making
  5. Resilience, Trauma, and Adverse Childhood Experiences
  6. Unmet Healthcare Needs for People in the Legal System
