Event Description

Saint Paul College in partnership with the MN Department of Labor and Industry will be offering custom developed curriculum for advanced manufacturing companies seeking to develop CNC Machine Programmers, Tool and Die Makers and Machine Operators. A working group of ten (10) students will receive training in (but not limited to):
  • CNC - G Code Programming.
  • GD&T.
  • Metrology.
  • Shop Calculations.
  • Mastercam.
  • CNC machine operation.
 This training model is highly sought after in the advanced manufacturing industry, and extremely valuable to daily production. 

In partnership with MN Department of Labor & Industry, St Paul College is offering a fully- funded grant opportunity for your facility to train staff members for a Senior Living Culinary Manager certificate. Due to the grant, all education & materials provided through St Paul College will be free to your student/employee, a value of $5,995. The full cost of the course covers all instructional time for online classes, in-person classes, instructional guidance, textbooks, materials, chef uniforms, chef knife set, food and tests. St. Paul College needs a minimum of 8 students to run the course and a max of 24 students in the class. The class is tentatively scheduled January-May 2021. There will be approximately 10 in-person skills practice days and the rest will be online.
 
Within the Senior Living Culinary Manager certificate course, your employee will complete courses in:
  • ·         Food Safety & Sanitation
  • ·         Food Costs
  • ·         Menu Composition
  • ·         Intro to Dining room service
  • ·         Culinary Arts Foundations
  • ·         Patisserie & Baking
  • ·         Kitchen safety
  • ·         D2L training
