It Just Takes A Spark!
It’s said that necessity is the mother of invention. Rally WBA is an invention born out of the Covid crisis. Alan Haskins, Owner/Creative Director from Nimble Impressions pined for an idea to spark economic activity is his community. The idea needed to incorporate community engagement, low/no cost to participate, and an element of fun. Rally WBA has all three aspects and more.
Consumers are experiencing a bit of paralysis around shopping for non-essential items. Partly fear from the virus combined with uncertainty about how to safely shop. As we all venture back out to buy things, one fact is absolutely true… we need to get creative. Rally WBA is just meant to be a creative way to get the ball rolling. It should give businesses something to use for social media, offer consumers incentive for shopping, and the chance to win things always tends to be fun.
Any business in the WB Area Chamber of Commerce geographic area can participate. They do not need to be chamber members to participate. This page will list all the participating businesses and also list the gift card/prize they are offering. A participating business must offer at least one gift card or prize of $10 value or greater. Although a purchase is not required to get a Rally Card, in the spirit of the game we hope people shop to receive them. Ideally a purchase of at least $5.00 from a participating business should result in the gift of a Rally Card.
Game Details
- Game Date Range: 5/15 - 5/25
- Shop at a participating business in the WBL Area.
- Participating businesses provide gift cards or prizes to participate.
- Pick-up your Rally Card after purchase of item or service
- Hold onto your Rally Card(s) until 5/25 live drawing
- Live drawing randomly picks numbers and pairs them with prizes
- Claim winning Rally Card numbers (part 1). Snap a picture of your card if you can and email it to us. This will help us let the corresponding business know that you will be claiming. Sending a picture of the card is not required... only helpful!
- Claim winning Rally Card numbers (part 2): Go to the business to claim your winnings. Probably best to call ahead. YOU MUST PRESENT YOUR RALLY CARD. No pictures of cards, copies of the cards, or claims that your dog ate the card will suffice.
- What if you miss the live drawing? DON'T WORRY! All winning numbers and the corresponding prizes will be listed on the Events page.
- 1 WEEK TO CLAIM PRIZE: You have one week to claim your prize. Since some of the cards may end up in the trash, lost, or otherwise go missing, we don't want prizes to go unclaimed. Any unclaimed prize will be added to the next game or donated in some way. REMEMBER... you didn't have to pay to play, nobody is profiting from this, so if missed out no biggie.
- Please don't cheat or try to scam the game. If this game is popular we will consider doing it again. However, if cheating or manipulated cards occur we will simply not do it again. Be honorable and keep with the spirit of the game.
