Summer Project: CodeMaker Kids Summer Coding Camp - Virtual Edition

Summer Coding Camp is on!

Coding is not just about learning computer science; it is about learning how to analyze, to plan, to organize, and to put into action what you have learned. Coding helps build skills like problem solving (math, science, logical thinking); it helps with concentration and focus; it helps your child build rigor to navigate rough terrain.

Children in grades 3 - 8 can enroll in coding camp. If your leaving 2nd grade this year or 8th grade this year, they can also enroll.

We'll have a blast and so will your kids :)
 

There will be four weekly sessions this summer:
  • Week 1:  Creative Coding Studio - discover programming through art, music and math
  • Week 2:  Game Design Studio - learn what it takes to build your own video game worlds.  Design different games
  • Week 3:  AR Studio - combine real world with virtual world! Use your camera and hand gestures to interact with virtual game 
  • Week 4:  Drone Coding Studio - experience the thrill of flight  as you learn to program Parrot drones using visual coding
Cost: $125 per session

We will also be offering full and partial scholarships to students who are having trouble with the registration fee.  Limited full and partial scholarships available, so apply early for a CodeMaker Kids Scholarship.
