Event Description
There will be a 2-day Blood Drive at the Fenton United Methodist Church at 800 Gravois Rd. June 29 and 30 (Monday – Tuesday) from 1:00-6:00 pm each day. This is a great opportunity to donate blood to help save lives. Contact the Red Cross to schedule an appointment at www.redcrossblood.org. The Red Cross Blood Drive in April in response to the COVID-19 virus was such a tremendous success. And because the need is great, Fenton United Methodist Church will host its second multi-day blood drive.

Details
As a reminder, during this time of pandemic, the Red Cross is taking extra precautions to limit the possibility of staff carrying the virus. Also, when donors arrive at the blood drive, their temperature will be taken and if it is 99.6 or above they will be asked to leave. A hand washing sink and sanitizing gel will be available for donors near the registration table. Volunteers will check in donors so donors do not have to touch the computer. Items that donors touch or we use to touch the donors are being covered with gloves, this includes the ends of stethoscopes and stress balls. Sanitizing wipes will be used to keep chairs, beds, tables, and other equipment clean between each donor. Thank you for supporting the American Red Cross and our continuing efforts to save lives during this pandemic.
