Haines City Public Library Book Sale - The Friends of the Haines City Public Library are having a book sale on Friday, June 26 and Saturday, June 27 from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm. The sale will be in the Community Room (located off the lobby) at the Haines City Public Library (111 North 6th Street in Haines City).
Hard cover books are $1.00, and paperbacks are 50 cents. There are no children’s books, no chapter books, no westerns, no cookbooks, and no movies at the sale. These items are for sale on our regular selling shelves just inside the library doors. Most of the items for sale are library donations. All books have been in the library since before the quarantine.
The Friends' work room will not be available for browsing as there is no way to social distance in such tight quarters. The capacity of the Community Room is currently 50 people. Books are sorted into categories, and fiction is alphabetized. A map of the sales room is posted on the Community Room door, and maps will be available both days of the sale.
For questions, please message Friends of the Haines City Public Library on their Facebook page. While masks are not required, it is strongly suggested that you wear one to the sale.
