Doug Mock Artist and Instructor, understands the issues with mixing and using greens in your watercolor paintings. He will share his knowledge for Greens - for spring, summer and even winter for landscapes and foliage. In watercolor, this can be a challenging and frustrating experience. Mixing and using the wrong hues can result in paintings that just do not look natural. In this two-day workshop, Doug will give you his recipes for greens that create dramatic depth and strong value shifts. Artists will create color charts and will learn how pigments in tube greens can affect color mixing results. Join Doug in the RAL Art Center Pike Studio on Thursday and Friday June 23rd and 24th from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm. Tuition is $170.00 for Members and $190.00 for Non-members. Call the Gallery at 804-436-9309 or stop by the Gallery to register on Thursdays through Saturdays from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. RAL Art Center observes all social distancing and face covering requirements.
RAL Art Center is supported by the Virginia Commission for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts.
