Event Description
The Buckeye City Council invites you to attend one of three public meetings to help ensure each Council District has an equal population of residents.
Buckeye's population has increased by nearly 80% over the past ten years, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.  With over 600 square miles of planning area, some areas of the city grew faster than others.
To ensure each of Buckeye's six Council Districts has approximately the same amount of residents, we need your help to redraw or update our current Council District boundaries.  Please plan to attend one of these three meetings:

Monday, Oct. 25, 2021 @ 5:00 pm at Buckeye City Hall Council Chambers, 530 E. Monroe Ave.
     Wednesday, Oct 27, 2021 @ 5:00 pm at Festival Fire Station 704, 27360 W. Wagner Complex Drive
     Thursday, Oct. 28, 2021 @ 5:00 pm at Coyote Library, 21699 W. Yuma Rd.

During these public meetings, residents are encouraged to use an online mapping tool to submit their own district maps for consideration.  You can also submit your proposed map from home.
