Event Description
Drivers who use southbound Loop 101 approaching
the Interstate 10 interchange in the Avondale/Glendale
area should allow extra travel time and consider alternate
routes while the following weekend closures are in place
for pavement removal.
The southbound Loop 101 ramp to east- and westbound
I-10 will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22, to 5 a.m.
Sunday, Oct. 24.
• Detour: Motorists can exit at Thomas or
• McDowell roads and use either 91st or 99th
• avenues to access I-10.
Drivers should use caution and be prepared to slow down
and merge safely when approaching and traveling through
