The Spider or the Fly - presented by Haines City Community Theatre - Fridays & Saturdays 7:30 p.m.; Sundays 2:30 p.m. March 25 - April 10, 2022. 303 Ledwith Ave., Haines City. Spider or the Fly by Sam Bobrick will be presented by Haines City Community Theatre on March 25, 26, April 1,2, 8, 9 at 7:30 and on March 27, and April 3, 10 at 2:30 in the afternoon. The story revolves around two jurors who become romantically involved while part of a jury hearing a grisly murder case. As the trial progresses, they realize that they disagree adamantly on the verdict. As the story unfolds to a frightening climax, another couple in another time period occupy the same apartment and learn that they have a connection to the original murder case. The play is a real psychological thriller directed by David Smith. Melanie Funka plays Maura, Mitchel England is Scott, Joshua van Dalen is Tom and Stephanie Taylor is Jan.
