The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration El Paso Division invites you to participate in the 2022 DEA's Citizens Academy. The Citizens Academy is part of DEA's Operation Engage Albuquerque initiative that welcomes civilians to gain an understanding of DEA's critical mission and to cultivate community awareness of the DEA's law enforcement and drug demand reduction efforts. Six weekly sessions will be held every Tuesday evening from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. beginning May 24 through June 28, 2022. Classes are led by DEA professionals including DEA executives, Special Agents, Intelligence Analysts, and the Public Information Officer. Topics to be addressed may include DEA foreign/domestic operations, local drug trends, clandestine laboratory briefing, raid training/execution, special operations, and DEA's community outreach and prevention programs. To request an application, please contact Mr. Carlos Briano at Carlos.A.Briano@dea.gov.
