Event Description
Growing up in post-World War II era Arizona, young Sammy Fabelman aspires to become a filmmaker as he reaches adolescence, but soon discovers a shattering family secret and explores how the power of films can help him see the truth. The film, which is loosely based on Spielberg's childhood, stars Michelle Williams, Seth Rogen, Paul Dano and Gabriel LaBelle. Steven Spielberg co-wrote the script alongside Tony Kushner. A Golden Globe winner and favorite for other best picture, actress, screenplay and director awards will likely be a big winner at the Oscars.
