Celebrating more than 100 years as one of Virginia’s most celebrated musical, educational and entrepreneurial arts organizations, Virginia Symphony Orchestra has been innovated from its inception, challenging expectations, and pushing boundaries of what an American orchestra can be. Successful expansions of its programming include “Sensory-friendly concerts”, “blockbuster concerts”, and it’s annual “CommUNITY Play-In & Sing-Along”.
