Event Description
"Kick Start the Leader in You" Leadership Series begins Friday, May 5. The 3-day series will be held at the Harlan Community Library, 718 Court Street, Harlan from 9:27 am - 4:27 pm. The series will expand on the topics of the original workshop and offer a more in-depth examination of the topics that will help develop new supervisors and managers while offering a refresher to others.

Each participant will receive a certificate at the completion of the program, HRCI learning credits are available (pending approval), a workbook to keep after the series, course materials, 2 - half our "coaching calls" at the end of the program to be used by the participant, a pre-brief and de-brief with each participant's manager to set goals and to provide feedback, and access to a private Facebook community leadership group.
Space is limited to the first 20 participants signed up. The cost of the program, including all the materials, is $500 per student. Call the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce & Industry at 712-755-21144 with questions or to sign-up your employees. Deadline for signing up is Monday, April 24.
