Dear Community Artist,
The Albuquerque Dia de Los Muertos humbly invites you to participate in the official call for entries/artists for the 2023 Albuquerque Dia de Los Muertos Parade and Festival. The Inaugural Parade is scheduled for Nov 11, 2023. Your art will be featured in any and all publications and promotional materials for the 2023 season, some merchandise, and gifts for sponsors and city dignitaries.
Project Theme: Albuquerque (New Mexico) + Dia de Los Muertos
The selected artists will showcase their creative spirits to embody the infusion of “Albuquerque” and “Dia de Los Muertos” on a two-dimensional art piece. What the infusion of those two elements means to you, in an art form, is the task at hand. See attachment “Exhibit A” for current and past official entries. Open Call for Entries Timeline: • Submit up to three (3) pencil sketches via email to Navarro@navarrogrp.com o These can be pictures, JPG, PDF, etc… as long as they show your entry clearly. Electronic entries only. • Entries must be received by August 8th, 2023, 5:00 PM CST. ***Any entries submitted past the above deadline, will be eliminated for consideration.
