Event Description
Experience the world of wildland firefighting with “Hotshot”, a film directed by Gabriel Kirkpatrick Mann and shot over the course of 6 years. This documentary takes you into the heart of some of California’s most devastating wildfires, offering an unfiltered, close-up look at the challenges faced by Hotshot crews. Meet an inspiring female Hotshot and her crew, who put everything on the line to protect our
public land and communities. Their story, often overlooked, is a testament to human resilience and commitment.
Experience the intensity and unpredictability of wildland firefighting like never before. There are very few films that capture the true essence of wildland firefighting. “Hotshot” offers a one-of-a-kind, unfiltered view into their world.
By attending, you’re advocating for the recognition and support that these individuals deserve. ALL of the proceeds from this event will be donated to Grassroots Wildland Firefighters. Visit www.grassrootswildlnadfirefighters.com for more information.
Join us on November 14th at 6:30 (doors at 5:45) at the Town Hall Theatre. Participate in our raffle and silent auction for the chance to win some incredible prizes, and support a great cause. Beer will be provided by Quintopia Brewing.
