Event Description
We are excited to announce a special event! To celebrate Pi Day, the library will be hosting a pie-making event on the evening of Monday, March 18, 6:30 pm at the Irwin Community Building, 404 Front Street, Irwin.

Diana Sheehy of Audubon will be teaching us how to make the perfect crust. She is the pie judge at the Iowa State Fair! Please call the library, 712-783-3335 to make your reservation for this event. Indicate what fruit pie filling you would prefer. There will be a registration fee of $20. We will supply a tin pie plate and other ingredients. (Note: Diana says a glass pie plate bakes the best, so you might want to bring your own pie plate!)
