The Santa Paula Concert Series will present the return of the Rowan Brothers with special guest Maddie Sifantus on Sunday, April 14th  at 3:00 PM at the historic Universalist Unitarian Church, a Ventura Historical County landmark, located at 740 East Main Street, Santa Paula. Chris and Lorin Rowan perform their own music and Acoustic roots/Americana with a splash of Bluegrass. Both record and perform on their own and with others. Their trademarks are tight harmonies and haunting melodies underscored by crisp guitar and mandolin. With their older brother Peter Rowan, who has performed for the Concert Series in the past, they have also recorded several albums including “Sibling Rivalry”, “Tree on a Hill” and “Crazy People”.  Lorin’s song “Soldier of the Cross” is the title track of country artist Ricky Skaggs’ Grammy winning CD. Their last concert in the series was in 2018.

The Rowans are longtime musical collaborators with Rev. Maddie Sifantus, director of the concert series and minister of the Universalist Unitarian Church of Santa Paula. She will be sitting in with them as she has since the Sixties.
