11th Annual Assumption Gala Supports Catholic Education
Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish in O’Fallon is gearing up for another evening like no other―the 2024 Black & Gold Gala, Saturday, April 20! Join us in the Parish Hall from 6:30-10 p.m. for an exciting night of entertainment and fun at the 11th annual fundraiser and auction. All proceeds benefit Catholic education.
Gala doors open at 6:30 p.m. and cocktail hour begins. El Tio Pepe Mexican Restaurant is stirring up a signature drink that is sure to be a hit! Russo’s Catering is preparing mini-buffet food stations that highlight a variety of ethnic cuisines suitable for everyone’s taste. A brand new black electric ICON i40L, four-person golf cart, courtesy of STL Custom Cartz, will be raffled-off at the end of the night, and everyone goes home with a gift bag of party favors.
In addition to an exciting night filled with games, music and bidding announcements from DJs with Let's Groove Entertainment, the live auction begins at 7:45 p.m. A few of the popular items featured at the Gala include:
Event tickets are $80 each. Adults interested in attending the Gala can purchase event and raffle tickets online at https://abvm.ticket.qtego.us/tickets/list. Golf cart raffle tickets are $25 each or five for $100, and Morgan Wallen raffle tickets are $15 each or five for $50.
If you are unable to attend the Gala in person, please join us virtually – there is no charge to participate and many silent auction items to bid on throughout the night! All you need to do is reserve a free bidding paddle online and secure the winning bid for items of your choice!
The Gala committee, through mid-April, is accepting silent auction baskets and Fund-A-Need donations. This year’s Fund-A-Need campaign is calling for the installation of 2-3 new air conditioning unites for the Assumption Early Childhood Center building. Interested donors should drop off donations at the Assumption Parish or School Office between the hours of 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and on Friday from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. In addition, a handful of sponsorships and business advertisements in the Gala souvenir booklet are available and offer great exposure and publicity to any business or organization.
