Join us virtually on Friday, May 17th, at 6 p.m., as UNM Associate Professor in the Nuclear Engineering Department Dr. Chris Perfetti discusses nuclear energy's greatest weakness or its greatest strength: nuclear waste. Dr. Perfetti will define nuclear waste, explore how much of it we have to dispose of, and review several options for disposing of nuclear waste, ranging from the ideal to the plausible to the absurd.
