Event Description
Come spend an hour learning what you can do to fight extreme poverty! This is an informational event about a nonprofit organization called The Borgen Project that advocates for the world's poor by influencing legislation to get more funding for humanitarian aid. I will be presenting on my experience as an ambassador with the organization and talking about how people can get involved, what we do, and what we have managed to accomplished. The event will take place in the meeting room at the Quincy Branch Library from 12:00-1:00 pm on July 15. I'll add my advertising poster for the event here.
