Event Description
This presentation will provide a practical "real world" overview of employers' compliance obligations under the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act. covered topics include how to process a request for accomodation (including how to obtain medical verification's), and how to handle concerns about performance, undue hardships and safety while accommodating employees. the course will also provide a practical overview of the Family & Medical Leave Act, including how to determine when employees are eligible for leave requirements, how to process leave requests, how to handle complex leave situations, and how the FMLA interacts with the DAD, PWFA and workers comp.
